The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost another player to free agency. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick moves south to the Miami Dolphins who also lost a quaterback to another team.
Fitzpatrick signed a two-year deal worth $11 million to replace Ryan Tannehill. This will be the eighth team he’s been with in his career.
Fitzpatrick started the 2018 season with stellar numbers while Tampa Bay’s #1 quarterback Jameis Winston was missing the games due to a three-game suspension.
During those three games, Fitzpatrick had three 400+ yard passing performances, the first time an NFL quarterback did so for three consecutive games.
Ryan Fitzpatrick joins Adam Humphries and Kwon Alexander who have left in free agency.
