Two Remaining Whales Found On Redington Beach To Be Released
When five pilot whales beached themselves in Redington Beach on Monday, experts were able to get three of them back to sea. Now, they’re returning the remaining two to join their pod.
The remaining two that have been watched at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium will be taken to join the rest of the pod that has been followed using pings from satellite.
The two pilot whales will be taken to a facility where they will be loaded onto a large boat Thursday morning to be taken out to sea. This will be done in a quiet place closed to the public.
