New Report Says Turn Air Conditioner To 82 When You Sleep
Energy Star, a federal program from the EPA, is recommending that we turn our A/C up at home. You won’t believe what they’re recommending.
The report suggests you keep your home at 78 degrees when you’re there. Warm enough? Wait… it gets better!
The report also suggests that when you go to sleep, bump the A/C up to 82. Sound like a comfortable temperature for sleeping? No, we didn’t think so either.
Also, for when you’re not home, bump the A/C to 85. 85 degrees!! Unless you’re keeping reptiles as pets, 85 may be a little on the warm side.
