The list used 30 different metrics that were graded and divided between four categories: Cost of Ownership & Maintenance, Safety, Traffic & Infrastructure, Access to Vehicles & Maintenance.
The results of the project told us that Raleigh, North Carolina, is the best city for driving. They were followed by Orlando, Florida.
Number three on the list is Lincoln, Nebraska, followed by Tampa, Florida at number four.
Yes, Tampa Bay area residents, the city of Tampa was ranked as the fourth best city for driving.
The four categories’ rankings for Tampa were: Cost of Ownership & Maintenance-11, Safety-70, Traffic & Infrastructure-24, Access to Vehicles & Maintenance-6.
