Clearwater Marine Aquarium Building Winter The Dolphin Themed Hotel

Winter the dolphin brought positive attention to Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Now, the dolphin will be the face of a new place to stay in Clearwater!

Along with Page Development Group and Choice Hotels International the aquarium announced plans for Winter the Dolphin's Beach Club Hotel in Clearwater Beach.

The beach hotel will be eco-friendly and themed with Winter the dolphin and other marine life. The development of the hotel will also use refurbished materials in efforts toward conservation. Also, lightning at the hotel will be sea turtle safe, they eliminate single-use plastics, and window treatments will help control sun glare from the Gulf of Mexico.

Proceeds from guests staying in the hotel go to the work of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

The planned opening date is Spring of 2020.
