School campuses will continue to be empty longer than originally announced. How long before they return?
The latest announcement regarding schools from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Richard Corcoran, the Commissioner of the Florida Department of Education, is that schools will remain empty until April 15.
Some districts, including Hillsborough and Pinellas County, continue to move forward with a digital, online plans.
The state still needs to address requirements for graduation. Parents are being given the option of holding their students back next school year.
Required testing was also called off for the 2019-2020 school year.
