Florida Announces Plan For Reopening Schools
Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis made an announcement on how the state will operate schools K-12 as it becomes time to reopen them in the fall.
The statement was that everyone needs to know that returning to schools will not create health risks. The plan involves reopening at full capacity. The state plans on having schools disinfected, regularly cleaned and the use of social distancing.
The purpose of being at full capacity also includes getting the state back to business. The state will use $1 billion from the CARES Act fund. Schools will have options on how they would like to spend the money, including on cleaning supplies or mental health services.
