Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cut Back To Two Preseason Games
We usually get four preseason NFL games as the coaching staff takes painstakingly hard looks at the players before they make their cuts. They won’t get as much time this season.
There have been arguments for years about whether four games are necessary for NFL teams to identify who they’d like to keep or cut. For the 2020 season, that decision has been made.
The NFL has reportedly decided to cut the first and fourth games from the preseason schedule. For the Buccaneers, that means the two games they’d be losing are:
- Game 1: Buccaneers AT Pittsburgh Steelers on August 14
- Game 4: Buccaneers AT Cleveland Browns on September 3
That leaves the Bucs with:
- Game 2: Buccaneers VS Jacksonville Jaguars @ Raymond James Stadium on August 22
- Game 3: Buccaneers VS Tennessee Titans @ Raymond James Stadium on August 29

According to our friend Dan Lucas from News Channel 8, one of those two home games may get flipped to a road game.
From my understanding, the #Bucs game against Jacksonville will likely move to Jacksonville. Tennessee game stays at RayJay. https://t.co/V1dm0c6bYf
