Walt Disney World Offers Public Covid-19 Testing
If you’re headed to Walt Disney World, you might as well enjoy all it has to offer, and now they’ve added Covid-19 tests.
The state has opened a coronavirus testing center in Osceola County, located at Disney’s main gate office near Animal Kingdom. Tests are for both Disney cast members and the public. Appointments are required, and the test results come back in 72 hours.
Those who would like to set up an appointment must visit DoINeedaCOVIDTest.com and bring the voucher to the site. The testing site is operated by eTrueNorth, which operates the most drive-thru testing sites in the country. The location’s address is listed as Maingate Complex, 3010 Maingate Ln. in Kissimmee and is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
The move to bring testing onto Disney property helps bring to an end one of the issues Actors’ Equity Association had before allowing their members to return. This could help mark the return of many Disney shows to the parks.
