Tampa Bay Buccaneers Plan To Have Fans At Raymond James Stadium
The Governor’s order to move into phase 3 now allows the Buccaneers to allow fans. How many will they grant access to the home games?
For the game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 4, the Buccaneers are planning on allowing a limited (but unspecified) number of tickets available. The Bucs are referring to this as a ‘soft opening’. They will go on sale Thursday. The next home game, slated for October 18 against the Green Bay Packers, will see attendance grow to 25%.
In a statement from Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford,
“The safety of all involved has been our No. 1 priority throughout this process. There simply is no way to replicate the energy and excitement that our fans provide for our players on the field. We remain thankful for the opportunity to experience this great season alongside our most passionate fans at Raymond James Stadium.”
First dibs go to season ticket holders, the longest tenured will be at the top of the list.
