Downtown Tampa Outdoor Ice Skating Returns This Winter
Having become a Tampa tradition, Winter Village and ice skating outdoors in Downtown Tampa returns for 2020 and here are all the details!
Winter Village in Curtis Hixon Park returns beginning November 20, 2020 and will run through January 3, 2021. What’s going on there? We’re glad you asked. You can go ice skating outdoors in downtown Tampa. You can click here to find out what hours you can visit the skating rink. Visiting Winter Village is free. You can also visit the Café at Winter Village which features Icicles Craft Kitchen, Kahwa Coffee and Whatever Pops.
After you’ve had a snack you can check out the Shops of Winter Village with 5 boutiques that feature gifts for everyone. With items like decorative items, clothes and pets accessories, you’ll find something that just can’t be missed.
All of this is in Curtis Hixon Park where you’re right next to the Hillsborough River and downtown Tampa’s Riverwalk.
Here are some more quick details. For individuals, 90 minutes of skating time and rental costs just $15 plus tax. Group rates are also available.
The rink will be available:
Monday-Thursday: 4pm-9pm
Friday: 4pm-10pm
Saturday: 10am-10pm
Sunday: Noon-9pm
There will also be extra hours during Hillsborough County School vacation days.
The park will be closed Thanksgiving, but open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
