Americans plan to travel this Thanksgiving, and Tripadvisor is keeping an eye on where they’re going.
Tripadvisor.com’s list of “Fastest Recovering Destinations”, based on information from previous years, shows where people are looking to book hotels this Thanksgiving. Key Largo led the list, and other Florida destinations include Key West (#3 on the list), Naples (#5), Clearwater (#6) and St. Pete Beach (#10).
With more than half of Americans still planning to travel, the total looking to travel is still down 14% from last year. Tripadvisor reports more than 3/4 of travelers will do so by car. Only 22% plan to stay socially distanced from their family by staying at a hotel or rental location.
As always the day before and day after Thanksgiving will be the busiest days on the road.
