Gaylord Palms “Ice” Replaced With “I Love Christmas Movies” For 2020
For years, “Ice” has delighted families with scenes from classic Christmas stories displayed in a frozen atmosphere. This year, the show is different but filled with spirit… and a little more.
“Ice” was pushed back to 2021 due to the pandemic, but what you’ll have the opportunity to experience this year may be as entertaining. Christmas at Gaylord Palms runs through January 3, 2021. “I love Christmas Movies” lets you walk through the iconic scenes of favorite movies, including The Polar Express, A Christmas Story, Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and The Year Without A Santa Claus with music, lighting, special effects and props from the films.
In addition to “I Love Christmas Movies”, you can visit “Snow Flow Mountain” and slide down the ice! There’s also the “Snowball Build and Blast” where you can join an assembly line of snowball-making and practice your aim.
Other experiences include “The Grinch’s Wonderful Awful Idea Scavenger Hunt”, “Mrs. Claus’ Christmas Traditions”, along with gingerbread decorating, elf training, hot chocolate and more.
