St. Petersburg Man Wins $1 Million From Florida Lottery Scratch-Off
On the Pinellas side of the bay, a man becomes latest to win big from a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.
Spreading the wins around the Tampa Bay area, Lee Fisher, 57, of Saint Petersburg is the latest $1 million winner. He has won in the “Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme” game from the Florida Lottery. The game is a $30 scratch-off ticket.
Fisher claimed his prize using a secured Florida Lottery drop box. He chose to take the one-time payment of $880,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 3700 4th Street North in St. Petersburg. The store will receive a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket. The “Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme” game launched in February, and according to FlaLottery.com, there were 24 $1 million prizes available with 21 remaining. The top prize is $15,000,000, and there are three of those remaining as well. There are also prizes from $30 to $100,000 still to be found.
