Tampa Man Wins $1 Million From Florida Lottery Scratch Off

We’re beginning to get used to this! A Tampa resident won big from a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

John Carter, 45, of Tampa won $1 million in “The Fastest Road To $1,000,000” game from the Florida Lottery. The game is a $30 scratch-off ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased at Southside Shell, located at 3602 West Gandy Boulevard in Tampa. The store will receive a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket. Carter claimed his prize at the Tampa District Office. He chose to take the one-time payment of $790,000.

“The Fastest Road To $1,000,000” game launched in February of 2020, and according to FlaLottery.com, there were 155 $1 million prizes available, 60 of which remain. There are also prizes ranging from $20 to $1,000,000.
