Southwest Airlines Flies Strange Checked Item To Tampa

To win a wager, a student on a flight from Columbus to Tampa checked a strange item. Southwest Air offers two checked items for free per passenger.

The wager was $20 that Southwest Air would check a pool noodle. She posted a TikTok video showing the adventure.

Once Southwest Air found out about the video and the wager, they joined the game as well. Southwest Air gave the winner of the wager a pool noodle branded with the Southwest Air logo at Tampa International Airport.

A second video was posted explaining why she went through the effort of bringing a pool noodle on a flight.
