Land O’Lakes Man Wins $1 Million From Florida Lottery Scratch Off
A Pasco County man won big from a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.
Mark McGeehan, 41, of Land `O Lakes must be very happy! He won $1 million in the “$5,000,000 Gold Rush Classic” scratch-off game from the Florida Lottery. The game is a $20 scratch-off ticket.
McGeehan claimed his prize at the Florida lottery Tampa District Office. He chose to take the one-time payment of $710,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 2121 Collier Parkway in Land `O Lakes. The store will receive a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
The “Cash Club” game launched in October 2018, and according to FlaLottery.com, there are 8 $1 million prizes remaining. There are also still two $5 million top prizes remaining. There are also prizes ranging from $20 to $100,000.
