As more and more is reopening at Disney Springs, and all over Walt Disney World, one attraction will remain closed.

Disney has confirmed The NBA Experience at Disney Springs will not reopen. It closed in March of 2020 because of the pandemic. As Disney has been announcing the reopening of resorts, attractions and restaurants, this is one of the only closures that’s happened.

Now, two years after it opened, it is gone. This came as a mutual decision between Walt Disney World and the NBA. Disney has not announced what will replace the NBA Experience. The NBA Experience replaced DisneyQuest, an “interactive theme park” that had been in that location from 1998 until 2017.

The technology here, between DisneyQuest and the NBA Experience has been pretty amazing. We look forward to seeing what Disney has in store next!
