Massachusetts Woman Wins $5 Million From Florida Lottery

A woman visiting Florida from Massachusetts gets a huge payday from a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket.

Ann Margaret Woodworth, 54, of Holbrook, Massachusetts, is celebrating her latest big win. She claimed a $5 million top prize in the $5,000,000 Cashword scratch-off game at the Florida Lottery’s Fort Myers District Office. Ann Margaret chose to receive the lump-sum of $3,915,000.

Ann Margaret purchased her winning ticket at Rightway Foods, at 2390 South McCall Rd. in Englewood. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

This wasn’t Ann Margaret’s first big win. She also won $2 million from the the Massachusetts Lottery in 2017.

$5,000,000 Cashword is a $20 scratch-off game that launched in May of 2020. There were 8 top prizes and 5 remain. There are also $1,000,000 prizes available, with 14 of the original 24 still remaining. The game has prizes ranging from $20 to $5 million.
