New Florida Home For Osborne Family Lights
If you’ve seen the Osborne Family Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and would like to see them again, here’s where they can be found.
It’s not too soon to begin making plans for Christmas. This is something you might want to add to your plans.
The Osborne Family Lights began in Little Rock, Arkansas. It eventually outgrew the Osborne family property, and legal issues forced the family to greatly reduce the size of the light show. It then spent a number of years at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. After changes at the theme park, there was need to find it a new home.
In 2020, Disney donated over three million of the sparkling lights to Give Kids the World Village, an 89-acrew non-profit resort in Kissimmee, Florida. The village provides week-long free wish vacations to critically ill children and their families.
For 52 nights, “Night of a Million Lights” lives at Give Kids the World Village. USA Today named the light show the “Number One Thing To Do In December In Orlando” in 2020. Now, in 2021, the show will run from November 12, 2021 through January 2, 2022.
The dancing lights show can be seen in a fairy tale neighborhood. You can stroll through millions of lights with a sparkling tree trail. Enjoy festive holiday music and treats, and even take a tram ride through the story book village.

Here are Mason’s favorite Christmas movies. It wasn’t easy to narrow them down to 10. There are nearly as many Christmas specials as there are Christmas songs. Not included are the animated specials such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer or Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, we’ll look at those later. This list focuses on feature films.
Is your favorite on this list?
