Tampa International Airport Receives Another #1 Rating
Tampa’s major airport has long been considered one of the best in the U.S., and they got another honor to prove it.
These awards are for the year’s ‘Airport Service Quality Awards’ (ASQ). They celebrate the best airports in the world based on travelers’ opinions. The organization Airports Council International compiled 370,000 surveys to select the winners.
The latest winner in the group of airports that see 15-25 million passengers in North America was Tampa International Airport. They also earned ‘Best Hygiene Measures by Region’ in the North American region.

Now, for those who travel through Tampa International Airport on a regular basis already knew how much better it is than most airports. For larger airports, 25 to 40 million passengers per year, the winners was Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and Salt Lake City International Airport. Also for the really big airports, handling over 40 million passengers per year, the winners were Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport.
