Sarasota County Man Buys $1 Million Winning Florida Lottery Ticket At Publix
A North Port man has landed a big win through the Florida Lottery.
30-year-old Ryan Temple of North Port won $1 million in the Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game. He claimed his winnings at the Lottery’s Fort Myers District Office. He chose the lump-sum of $795,000.
Ryan purchased his $20 Gold Rush Limited ticket at the Publix located at 19451 Cocharan Boulevard in Port Charlotte. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The Gold Rush Limited game launched in September 2021 and a $5 million top prizes, of which there are 23 of 32 still remaining. There were also 100 $1 million prizes available, 72 of which remain. Additionally, this ticket is filled with over 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000! The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65.
