Ocala Man Spells Big Win With Florida Lottery Scratch-Off
A man spelled out the words it took to win $1 million from the Florida Lottery.
Guadalupe Santillan Rodriguez, 48, of Ocala, scratched off a ‘$5,000,000 Cashword’ ticket. He counted up enough words to win the second tier prize of $1 million.
Rodriguez claimed his winnings at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a lump-sum of $780,000. He purchased the ticket at the Quick King Food Store located at 8955 Southwest Highway 200 in Ocala. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
