3 Ways To Enjoy ZooTampa’s ‘Christmas In The Wild’
Tampa’s zoo welcomes the Christmas season with their annual traditional celebration beginning Friday, November 27.
Christmas in the Wild comes back to ZooTampa, beginning Friday, November 27 and on select nights through December 30th. Family fun in a safe atmosphere with the lights and treats of the Christmas season, plus the wildlife you love at ZooTampa. What can you experience at Christmas in the Wild?
The Forest of Fantasy: An evergreen forest in ZooTampa’s Manatee Circle sparkling with life with shows every 15 minutes. There’s also a snowstorm brought by the queen of ice and snow will visit with her royal icing guards for the kids.
Holiday Kaleidoscope: A walk-through experience where you’ll find projections, lighting and sounds with celebrations and messages of hope.
Cookie Decorating with Mrs. Claus: Take classes on cookie decorating with the Mrs.! You can watch or join in the fun.
Speaking of food, there are lots of holiday treats for you! ZooTampa’s holiday menu includes: Holiday burgers with stuffing, snowman marshmallows, cranberry glazed ribs, holiday dogs, Bavarian pretzels, roasted nuts, holiday French fries, festive cocktails like “The Grinch”, and much more!
Christmas in the Wild takes place on 17 select nights: November 27, 28 & December 4-5, 11-12, 18-23, 26-30.
On each of the select dates, events start at 4 p.m. with extended hours until 10 p.m. on event days before Christmas and
until 9pm after Christmas
Enhanced health and safety precautions will be in place including non-invasive temperatures checks, social distancing, enhanced sanitation of attractions and mask requirements in limited outdoor locations. Additionally, all staff members including costumed characters will wear masks.
