Megacon Orlando 2021 Makes First Celebrity Guest Announcement

After COVID-19 cancelled the 2020 event, Megacon Orlando rescheduled later in 2021. They continue to announce celebrity guests.

Megacon Orlando usually happens earlier in the calendar year. For safety, the convention was moved a few months. The new official dates for 2021 will be August 12-15.

There isn’t a big surprise these guests chose to come back for 2021. They were scheduled to attend last year, but now we’ll have the chance to meet the four hobbits for their 20th anniversary reunion.

Yes, it’s been 20 years since we first met these four hobbits in “Lord of the Rings: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”.

  Miami's show will be on June 18. The next night the tour comes to Orlando. Then the tour moves north but comes back to Florida for a show in Jacksonville on July 2. Unfortunately still no word of any Tampa dates for the tour.

  The GRAMMY Award winner plays Ruth Eckerd Hall for the first time in 7 years.

  If you've been to a Buffett show, you know the real show isn't on stage, it's in the crowd. This will be the 3rd attempt at making this concert happened. Jimmy had shoulder surgery that postponed the concert in 2019. Then our friend COVID-19 meant a postponement of the rescheduled 2020 concert at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

  If you missed them in Tampa, you have one more chance to see the Rolling Stones when the Hackney Diamonds '24 tour comes to Camping World Stadium in Orlando. And if you miss this show, you'll have to catch them on one of their future tours over the next few decades... because even though the show is sponsored by AARP, the Stones show no signs of slowing down.

  The concert was originally set for March 26. Cher hoped to reschedule, but given the uncertainty of how long we'll be dealing with coronavirus, she has decided to cancel the show so fans can get refunds.
