Tampa Gets Another $1,000,000 Winner From Florida Lottery Scratch-Off
Another Tampa Bay area resident has become a millionaire from the Florida Lottery.
This time on the Hillsborough County side of the Tampa Bay area, Shirley Mapp, 49, of Tampa is the latest $1 million winner. She has won in the “$5,000,000 Gold Rush Classic Scratch-Off game” from the Florida Lottery. The game is a $20 scratch-off ticket.
Mapp claimed her prize using a secured Florida Lottery drop box. She chose to take the one-time payment of $710,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at David & Hana Community Market, located at 3320 East Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. The store will receive a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket. The “$5,000,000 Gold Rush Classic” scratch-off game launched in October 2018 , and according to FlaLottery.com, there were at total of 9 top $5,000,000 prizes, 3 of which are still available. There were 45 $1 million prizes and there are 13 remaining.
