4 New Restaurants Opening In Downtown Tampa’s Water Street District
The parent company of Ocean Prime is among the owners opening new restaurants in Tampa’s Water Street.
Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, owners of Ocean Prime, is opening The Pearl. It will be located in the ground floor of Heron, an apartment building. The Pearl is a tavern with a seafood-leaning menu. Here’s the menu for their Dublin, Ohio, location.
The owners of Cru Cellars are placing two stores in downtown Tampa. One is Small Giant Bar & Restaurant. The other, Wine on Water, a wine and liquor shop. They will both open in the street level of another apartment building, Cora. They are expected to open in 2022.
The pizza lover might try this out. Small Giant offers “Ohio-style” pizza. Their pizza described as “thin, flake-like cracker crust” and is “square cut,” Small Giant will also open in Cora.
Tampa’s Water Street district has been growing quickly, backed by Jeff Vinik and the Bill Gates-controlled Cascade Investment LLC.
