New Port Richey Woman Wins $1 Million With Florida Lottery Scratcher
There’s another very happy Pasco County winner from the Florida Lottery.
Lora Tanouis, 58, of New Port Richey, scratched off a ticket from the “Gold Rush Limited” game. She found a $1 million winning ticket! The $20 game offers prizes ranging from $20 to $5 million.
Lora claimed her winnings at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to take her winnings as a lump sum of $795,000.
Lora purchased the ticket from AZ Shop, 6022 State Road 54 in New Port Richey. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling that winning ticket. The “Gold Rush Limited” game still has 27 of 32 $5 million top prizes and 81 of 100 $1 million prizes remaining.
