Vincent Demshar, 57, of Tampa, won the $1,000 a Week for Life. The game’s drawing from October 7, 2021, earned him the big win. He chose to take the winnings as a lump-sum $1 million at the Florida Lottery’s Tampa District Office.
The ticket was purchased at the Publix located at 4315 West Gandy Blvd. in Tampa. The store will receive $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.
The game is a multi-state game that offers both a $1,000 a Week for Life prize and a $1,000 a Day for Life prize. Florida is the 9th state to participate in Cash4Life. The game is a $2 draw game that features 5 white balls and a Cash Ball. 5 matching white balls wins $1,000 a week for life, while 5 matching white balls and a matching Cash Ball wins $1,000 a day for life. Drawings are held daily at 9 p.m.
